Well we are BRAND NEW and we are Friendly, Caring, and FUN….we are 3 stay-at-home moms who were looking for a CHEAPER alternative to other auction sites and this what we came up with….www.3happymoms.com….we are trying to make it MORE affordable, Easier to USE, and a FUN safe environment to use for other stay-at-home moms who need to make some extra income and still be at home with their little ones…we have also developed a TRADE/SWAP site that will be very useful for anyone wanting to use that as well…We really do CARE and we hope that you feel right at home here on our site! WELCOME :0) Learn how to BUY and SELL: You can register and become a buyer on this site and NOT sell…you can register and BUY or SELL or do both.
Register by choosing a user name and password and some other information about yourself and that is it, you are done…ready to buy or sell or just browse around.
Our site is an EXCELLENT place to come together and buy and sell anything, it can be a bit scary to new users who aren’t used to buying items online from strangers or buying at auctions. Here are a few SIMPLE tips for making your buying or selling experience on our site a POSITIVE ONE:
· Learn how to Search and Browse the site before starting.
· Before buying an item, review the REPUTATION that others have left for that seller, and also learn about PayPal our preferred way to pay. Learning about a seller’s past trading experiences, their REPUTATION will help you decide if this is a person you feel you can trust. Learning about PayPal before you buy will make your PayPal buying experience easier. You can also visit the PayPal site and set up an account before doing any buying or selling. You can read all about them at www.paypal.com.
· Review our TERMS and CONDTIONS (located at the bottom of the auction page) to ensure that you know what we accept this will create a safe and FUN environment for all of our members.
· Learn how to get the HELP if you need it. you can contact us at anytime by using the CONTACT US button at the top of the page or if you are having problems with another member you can use your abuse report button found in the left hand column under my account….don’t hesitate to contact us.
· Stay in touch with the 3happymoms Community. we have a blog site, a forum site, and more…use the top of the auction page or any page for your navigaton.
To buy, all you need to do is to register, confirm and log in.
How to sell
1. Sign up/Register
Note: before listing/selling if u want to enable Paypal or it won't let you add Paypal to your listing. To enable this function you must go to 'manage account' and enter your paypal email address.
You may also over-ride the address that paypal has on record and input a custom address if you need to.
2. Enter the sign and go to the SELL tab at the top of the page.
3. IF you have opened a store, you will be given the option of listing in your store or listing in the site or both. Store listings will NOT be charged any of the standard listing fees.
4. Choose your main category and then second category if you choose this option. If not, simply click
5. Enter your listing details ~ title & description ~ In the description field, you may add direct links to remotely hosted pictures if you like.
You also have the option to enter a voucher code here. Sometimes we will send out voucher rewards to sellers to use here. Click submit.
6. At the next screen, you can choose a standard 1 item auction or a dutch(multiple) auction.
You can choose many different listing options ~ auction style, auction style with buy-out enabled, auction style with reserver, buy-out only, auction with make an offer, auction with swap offer etc. The fees will vary depending on the options you choose. You may also choose to add it as a featured auction, highlight it, etc. You will even be allowed to (if you wish) set your very own bid increments for any item you list. All fees will be listed next to the option so that you know how much it costs to add.
**To have a BUY-OUT ONLY type of auction, you must enable the buy-out option and set the AUCTION PRICE exactly = with BUY-OUT price.
You should choose a start time (or it will start immediately) and you can choose the duration of the auction from 1 day to 1 month.
You can upload up to 3 pictures from your computer or you can choose remotely hosted pictures(but you must use a direct link only or your image will be broken!)
You can also upload a media file to your auction.
You can choose to have your items automatically relisted.

7. This is where you will choose your shipping methods and costs. You will also need to choose payment methods ~ if you want Paypal to be clickable, remember you would have needed to set this up in first.

8. NOW you are able to look over the listing you have just entered and either LIST NOW or go to a previous step to edit it or SAVE AS DRAFT.

9. Your auction is now set up! You will be taken to a confirmation screen and you should receive a confirmation email.

Make sure your picture is 1000 Kb or less before you get ready to list or you may use a hosting site such as photo bucket just make sure you use the direct link (the http:// )

In MEMBERS AREA, click on
You will see a list of available stores that you can subscribe to. There is a box that will say ENABLE STORE ~ this box must be checked to activate your store. You may choose a store package level and pay for that store package.
Each package differs in some way. We have tried to offer something for every budget range ~ and remember the cool thing about STORES is that you will only pay 1 up front fee. There are no listing fees associated with the STORES packages!

To promote a safe environment for all members, 3happymoms.com has some rules and policies that are enforced. Please be aware that we are a FAMILY FRIENDLY site and we will, to the best of our abilities, keep it that way. What consitutes a Violation you ask? READ ON!
To make the 3HappyMoms Community safe and fun for everyone, please be aware of the terms of use so that you are not in violation of the community rules.
WHAT CONSTITUTES A VIOLATION?
A violation will be incurred and your auction, store, or swap/trade ads will be removed immediately if it contains slanderous content that may harm a person, business or entity who is a member of our community, OR if that content is detrimental to the reputation of 3HappyMoms.com website community in any way.
A violation will be incurred and your auction, store, or swap/trade ad will be removed immediately if we find the content of your store, auction, or swap/trade ad to be morally objectionable. Examples of this include, but are not limited to, ads that contain racially charged words, pictures or innuendo...if the content is AT ALL suggestive of child pornography....if the content suggests or enables the sell of humans in anyway, or if it is in general offensive to us or the members of the community.
A violation will be incurred if you list any URL or link to any website that contains any of the content listed in the paragraphs above.
A violation will be incurred if you list any URL or link to any website that directs traffic away from 3HappyMoms.com for the purposes of completing a sale off this site You may, however, link to sites in you About Us page that better explain your products or services.
It seems like we shouldn't even have to say this ... but ....IF you are a seller ~ follow thru on your end of the deal. IF you are a buyer, follow thru on your end of the deal and lets all just get along! A suspension/ban of your account will incur if you collect too many negative feedbacks reflecting the behaviors of a non-paying buyer or a non-performing seller.
A violation will be incurred if you are rude, hateful, mean, slanderous, or generally nasty to other members of the community and they report this activity to us with proof of your behavior. We strive to have a family friendly, non-hostile community environment and all members will be expected to conduct themselves and their businesses in the appropriate ways to uphold the good reputation of 3HappyMoms.com community. We reserve the right to terminate and/or ban any community member for any of the same reasons listed in the paragraphs above and even some reasons NOT listed in the paragraphs above. Try to think of it as the 12 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER rule ~ If you would not let your 12 year old daughter read the content you are uploading to our site....please do not upload it to our sight!!! You will be responsible for your own conduct...SO behave and play nice please!
Collecting too many violations in the community will result in a suspension to your account for a time period that we deem necessary. It may even constitute a total ban from coming back if we are in a really bad mood. None of the staff or community members wants to spend our days and nights 'babysitting' you to make sure you behave. Membership in this private community is a privilege, not a right!

General Terms and Conditions
This web-site is intended to be a friendly, enjoyable and useful experience, but as with anything concerning any kind of transactions there are risks involved and we strongly advise you to understand all of these terms before joining. If you spot a listing that you feel is violating the general terms and conditions of this web-site as stated below please let us know by contacting us.
Rights To Suspend or Terminate. You agree that this web-site, in its own discretion, may terminate any auction or use of the service immediately and without notice if (a) We believe that you are not abiding by the general rules of this web-site (b) You have repeatedly broken a certain term (c) You have listed a suspicious item (d) We believe you to be a non paying bidder. In most cases when we suspect foul play we will suspend your account/listing whilst we investigate further. If our investigation is conclusive then your account with us will be terminated.
Your Conduct. You are solely responsible for the contents of your actions through this web-site. You must ensure that your participation in the selling or buying of items does not violate any applicable laws or regulations. By this we mean that you must check that you entitled to sell or buy the relevant item and that you are not prohibited from doing so by any law or regulation. You must not transmit through the service any unlawful, harassing, libelous, abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, obscene or otherwise objectionable material. You must also not transmit any material that encourages conduct that could constitute a criminal offence, give rise to civil liability or otherwise violate any applicable law or regulation.
Membership. Membership to this web-site is only available to those you can form a legally binding contract. This web-site does not permit minors (under 16) to register. If any member fails to signup with their correct age the account will be terminated immediately.
General Terms. This site acts as the window for sellers to conduct auctions and for bidders to bid on sellers' auctions. We are not involved in the actual transaction between buyers and sellers. As a result, we have no control over the quality, safety or legality of the items listed the truth or accuracy of the listings, the ability of sellers to sell items or the ability of buyers to buy items. We cannot and do not control whether or not sellers will complete the sale of items they offer or buyers will complete the purchases of items they have bid on. In addition, note that there are risks of dealing with foreign nationals, underage persons or people acting under false pretence. This Web-site shall not be responsible for any items sold by Auction, for any damage to items during transit or during the inspection period, nor for misrepresentations and/or breaches of contract by either buyer and/or seller. This web-site shall not be responsible for the cost of procurement of substitute goods or any losses resulting form any goods purchased or obtained. This web-site assumes no liability for the content of the listings. However if you fall victim of a fraudulent transaction we will assist you as much as we can.
STORES
All Stores are required to be PAID up front before opening the store and then monthly every 30 days thereafter for the store to remain active. Once you have PAID you can open up your store and begin listing there. No listing fees will apply to stores when listing IN SHOP only. If you choose to list both IN SHOP and ON SITE regular listing fees apply.
AUCTIONS
Fees for auctions will be accrued monthly. We have given everyone a maximum credit limi to work with and once you have accrued that limit you will be notified and invoiced. All fees will need to be paid to continue listing.
MEMBERS AREA
Your account information(once you are logged in) are located on the left hand side of your screen under MEMBERS AREA. Click on the (+) sign if you don't see this column and only the categories show there.
In this members area, you can do anything from pay invoices to look at your account history. We encourage you to explore and become familiar with this area. HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO SELL ON 3HAPPYMOMS.COM
Well you can check the SITE FEES tab at the top right side of the auctions page or you can use the fees calculator in the left hand column under SELLING. The fees calculator lets you enter all the options you want to add to your auction (buy out, highlighted, bold etc.) and gives you an amount that it will cost you to list that item that way. The SITE FEES tab contains overall fees tables. We are trying to set a simple, easy to understand fee table.
Remember that STORES do not get charged listing fees. All you pay for with a store is the monthly, up front store package fee. ENDING A LISTING IMMEDIATELY
Sometimes it becomes necessary to end an item you have listed. The seller of the listed item can EDIT or DELETE the item as long as there are NO BIDS on it. Speciality Services that we offer
We are also auction sellers for many years. We have been there and have tried to incorporate some things into our site that we liked about other places *or* that we wished the other places would have offered to us. We hope that you will take advantage of some of these services and find them to be helpful to you!

You can order business cards thru us…that means LESS HASSLE for you and a great way to advertise your NEW STORE.

We have a star system on our site and it is called REPUTATION and each time a SELLER sells, the person buying from them gets a chance to leave a certain amount of stars for them and you can review that SELLERS REPUTATION by clicking on the number beside their user name. All of this is voluntary of course! BUT....We encourage you to investigate the reputation of any seller you want to purchase from. And as a seller, we encourage you to leave a feedback for you buyers. BLOCKING BIDDERS
Sometimes you might find that you need to prevent a person from bidding on your items. You have a block users button on your control panel under selling, just add the user id and that seller/buyer cannot purchase from you.
It is now up and running! Get paid for sales that your referral makes ~
1. refer a user via the personalized referral link or banner, personalized email, or with your user name on the registration page.
2. once that user registers, go check APPROVE on your referrals link in the members area left hand menu ~ you AND your referral get at least $1 in your account balance.
3. if your referral is a seller, when they make an AUCTION sell they get charged a 5% end of auction fee based on the final sell price (remember store sales don't get charged any selling fees). YOU get 1% of that end of auction fee as a commission.
4. check your commissions in the members area left hand menu to watch your balance grow and track your referrals' sales
5. when your balance reaches $20, submit a request for your commission via check or paypal payment using the form provided.
The more your referrals sell the higher your comissions will be! So start referring people today...bring in those buyers and sellers...and watch your profits grow!
